Kiira & Daniel's Backyard Wedding

Of all the weddings I have seen and been a part of, Kiira and Daniel take the cake (okay pie!) of being the most invested physically into their day and the design.  They took it upon themselves to personalize every detail that could be made their own.  They met almost 7 years ago at UCSD engineering, and as engineers now, it goes without saying they are extremely creative and go-getters.  When I had our first video call with them - I instantly knew these two would create the most fun wedding - their guests were blown away!

They held their wedding in Kiira's family home just outside of Davis, CA. This beautiful backyard has so many nooks and crannies, a vegetable garden, chickens and a rooster, and countless dogs and cats running around, I can only imagine the memories Kiira has here.  Her family is incredibly warm hearted and it is so clear how much love is in their home.  Kiira and Daniel put the following personal touches on their day (and I might even be missing a few!):

- Dip Dyeing each napkin - Creating the table numbers - Stringing all of the lighting in the backyard - Creating all the floral table centerpieces and bouquets - Hanging the hops for their ceremony alter - Brewing the beer (!!!) - Making popsicles in various flavors - Making a candle for each guest as a favor - Building the Bar and Building the Beer Dispenser - Creating their Seating Chart from an old window - Assembling a photo backdrop with hundreds of paper butterflies -

I couldn't be happier for these two and more excited with the gorgeous photos Delbarr Moradi captured of their day!
